01Overview

Response365 BI is the only BI layer that lives inside every workflow of the ERP, speaks any language your team uses, and learns your business as you use it. Type a question — "top 10 customers by margin this year" — and it writes the query, picks the chart, and answers in seconds. No technical skills, no exports, no data team, no second login.

02The problem it solves

Your data lives in seven systems; your insights live in nobody's head. Finance is in the accounting tool, customers in the CRM, stock in the warehouse system. Every question that crosses two systems turns into an export, a pivot table and three days of waiting on a data team.

BI makes that gap disappear by living in the same product — and the same database — as the source data. It reads every module directly, with no exports and no sync lag, and dashboards become the result of a question rather than the starting point.

Result anyone can answer a cross-department question in seconds — no analyst, no export, no three-day wait.

03What we built

Three architectural choices set it apart: it's native rather than bolted-on (it shares the database and the security model with the rest of Response365); it's conversation-first (users ask, the system picks the visualization); and it's self-learning (every unrecognised question is captured and used to improve the system — no hardcoded keyword lists, no semantic-model rebuilds).

Conversational analytics

Single questions become conversations. Ask a follow-up and the engine carries the context — "now filter to Europe", "how does that compare to last year?" — exactly what an analyst does manually every afternoon, automated. It asks back when a question is ambiguous, and any answer exports straight into the format the meeting needs.

A purpose-built pipeline, not a thin AI wrapper

Every question — in any language — flows through ten testable, explainable stages:

• 1 · Language detection — so every downstream stage stays locale-aware.
• 2 · Multilingual mapper — maps business terms between the user's language and the schema.
• 3 · Intent registry — fuzzy matching that tolerates typos and synonyms.
• 4 · Schema mapper — resolves business terms to the right fact and dimension tables.
• 5 · SQL generator — the AI builds a query against your real structure, never free-form.
• 6 · SQL validator — enforces data isolation, blocks unsafe queries, flags slow ones.
• 7 · SQL optimizer — rewrites the query to run fast, even on large data.
• 8 · Result optimizer — shapes aggregations, rankings and period-over-period comparisons.
• 9 · Visualization engine — auto-selects from eight chart types by the shape of the result.
• 10 · Render & export — renders the chart and offers Excel, CSV, PDF or an AI narrative.

04Safe SQL, always

The AI proposes; the validator disposes. No customer ever sees another customer's data, regardless of how creative the question — multi-tenant safety is enforced at the SQL layer, not just in application code. That separation is what makes a conversational interface safe to point at a live business database.
